Do You Want to Lower the Cost of College Tuition?

Most high school college bound students will determine their college selection based on price. College tuition varies from college to college. The average cost of tuition and fees for the 2018/2019 school year was $35,676 at private colleges, $9,716 for state residents at public colleges and $21,629 for out of state students at state schools. A two-year public institution’s tuition and fees cost approximately $3,570 on average per year for in-state students.

Many students do not pay the full tuition price or sticker price once financial aid and institutional grants are factored into the price. But a four-year college is still going to be expensive. Plus, remember the student will pay tuition for four or five years. Everyone can easily understand the need of an academic scholarship for good high school grades and an athletic scholarship. Do not rule out private colleges with high tuition cost. These institutions often offer tuition discounts that may make them competitive with state school prices, especially if you qualify for an academic and athletic scholarship. According to the National Association of College & University Business Officers, private institutions discounted their freshman tuition at an estimated record high in 2017/2018 at nearly 50%. But wait a minute, what about the cost of a student‘s sophomore, junior and senior years? Much work is required to understand the college process.

When a high school student’s mom and dad search for a college with admission acceptance, lower price, scholarships, grants, and financial aid, it’s like living in a maze.

Now is the time to work on grades and a higher GPA for academic scholarships and if you are an athlete you will appreciate an athletic scholarship. If the coach wants an athletic player bad enough, he will work with you on lowering your college cost. But first the athlete must find the right college and coach. This is not that easy unless you’re a superstar.

Many coaches are looking right now for good athletes. You need to know how to expose your talent and skills to coaches. You need to find the right coach first.

If you want to accomplish more, do more, lower your cost of college and stay away from living in the college maze, a college life coach will be your answer. Please review ouraag.com and collegeprofiles4u.com.
